Address suggestions
When you type an address into the donation or volunteer form, what you have typed so far is sent to our server, which asks the City of Toronto’s public address register for matching addresses and returns a short list for you to choose from. We never ask your device for its location, and nothing is sent until you start typing. The suggestions are only a shortcut: every field stays editable, an address the register does not know still goes through, and the address recorded against a contribution is the one you confirm when you submit the form.
